Pharmacity and Nestlé Vietnam bring scientific nutritional solutions to the community

Recently, Pharmacity Pharmacy System and Nestlé Health Science - the health and nutrition division of Nestlé Group - signed a strategic cooperation agreement to establish a long-term partnership in distributing genuine scientific nutritional products to bring international standard scientific nutritional solutions closer to Vietnamese consumers.

Within the framework of cooperation, Nestlé Health Science will coordinate with Pharmacity's team of experienced pharmacists to provide in-depth advice, helping consumers improve their understanding of nutrition, contributing to building proactive health care habits based on a scientific nutritional foundation.

In recent years, Vietnamese consumers have become more proactive in taking care of their health. Food supplements combined with scientific nutrition have therefore become increasingly popular and become an important part of daily life.

As one of the first modern pharmacy systems in Vietnam with more than 1,000 pharmacies nationwide, Pharmacity has been accompanying Vietnamese families' health for 15 years. Understanding the reality and nutritional habits of Vietnamese people, Pharmacity has built a comprehensive product and service ecosystem, meeting all health care needs from medicines, vitamins, minerals, food supplements to beauty products. This cooperation with Nestlé Health Science expands the choice of genuine, high-quality scientific nutrition.

According to the agreement, Pharmacity will become the distribution channel of Nestlé Health Science, providing scientific nutritional products imported from Switzerland, the Netherlands and Singapore, including Nutren Junior medical nutritional food for children aged 1-10; Boost Optimum nutritional supplement for the elderly and Peptamen specialized medical nutritional food for people with poor absorption and impaired digestive function. In particular, Pharmacity is the exclusive pharmacy distributing the health protection food Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides in Vietnam.

Sharing about this cooperation, Mr. Zubin Trikha, Head of Specialty Nutrition, Nestlé Health Science Vietnam said: “Through this cooperation, we hope to work with Pharmacity to help the community easily access health care products for themselves and their families, especially products that support specialized nutritional needs, support recovery and improve physical condition. By promoting genuine distribution channels nationwide, we aim to increase users' access to scientific nutritional products that meet international standards, thereby gradually creating a solid nutritional foundation for Vietnamese people - from children to the elderly.”

In nearly 160 years of establishment globally and 30 years of presence in Vietnam, Nestlé Group has possessed strengths in nutritional expertise based on scientific foundations. With that solid foundation, Nestlé Health Science will co-organize with Pharmacity a series of nutrition seminars exclusively for pharmacists of the pharmacy system. The program focuses on sharing nutritional knowledge for each stage and different subjects, including children from 1-10 years old, adults over 50 years old and patients in the recovery process. This activity aims at a personalized consulting model right at the pharmacy, providing correct - sufficient - safe advice, thereby helping consumers form sustainable nutritional habits.
