
The event, hosted by the National Cyber Security Association (NCA), under the auspices of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Education and Training, promises to be a large-scale and top-notch intellectual playground for students nationwide.
In the context of data security and privacy being hot issues globally, this year's competition focuses on current topics, creating opportunities for students to approach real-life situations, thereby improving their professional capacity and creative thinking.
The exam council brings together more than 30 leading experts from large technology corporations such as Viettel, VNPT,FPT , Bkav... committed to bringing quality challenges, inspiring the future generation of cybersecurity experts.
The competition is designed with two rounds: The preliminary round will take place online on October 18 in the form of Jeopardy CTF, testing the contestants' in-depth knowledge in areas such as software exploitation (Pwnable), source code decompilation (Reverse Engineering), web security and algorithm decoding.
The final round is scheduled to be held on November 15 at the headquarters of the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (A05).
The total prize value of the contest is up to 250 million VND in cash, along with many valuable scholarships and internship and work opportunities at leading enterprises.
In particular, the competition results will be the basis for selecting the team representing Vietnam to participate in international arenas such as Cyber SEA Game and ASEAN Cyber Shield.
In parallel with the final round, the “Cyber Security Student Festival” will be held at Hanoi Children's Palace (campus 2) on November 15, with the participation of more than 1,500 students and 50 businesses. The event will include career orientation seminars, job fairs, etc.
This is not only a place to cheer for the teams but also a practical bridge between students and employers, contributing to the development of high-quality human resources.
