Speaking at the launching ceremony, journalist and director Nguyen Truong Son, Chairman of the Vietnam Advertising Association and Co-Chairman of the Organizing Committee, affirmed that the Vietnam Creative Advertising Awards - Van Xuan Awards is an official award initiated and directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Vietnam Advertising Association once a year, to honor excellent advertising ideas with practical application value, and to position the identity of the Vietnamese advertising industry.
Vietnam Creative Advertising Awards - Van Xuan Awards contributes to creating an important foundation in the cultural industry development strategy, soon realizing the Project to build and promote the national brand: "Vietnam Creative Advertising Awards" for the period 2020-2030 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism .
The works participating in the award must ensure the following criteria: have new, unique and impressive creative ideas; convey messages clearly, easily understood, easily remembered and effectively; have high quality images and sounds and create good sensory effects; highlight and recall product and brand images; promote a sense of responsibility towards the environment and the community; deeply express cultural elements, customs and ethics of the Vietnamese people.
Journalist and director Nguyen Truong Son said that in 2023 and 2024, the Vietnam Creative Advertising Awards - Van Xuan Awards has created momentum for the Vietnamese advertising industry by attracting more than 2,200 entries, gathering about 400 brands and nearly 200 creative experts and millions of views on media platforms and channels. Many advertising works bear a strong Vietnamese mark, spreading good values in the community.
In 2025, the Award continues to position its innovative, new and proud national values, opening up a journey to find national identity through a creative lens with the spirit of "Pride of Vietnam".
Mr. Tran Viet Tan, Vice President of Vietnam Advertising Association, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VINAMA Media Joint Stock Company, and Co-Deputy of the Organizing Committee, said that the Award is a promotion of the role of connecting management agencies, businesses, experts and the creative community to identify, especially connecting and nurturing the young generation - a force that will contribute to shaping the appearance of the Vietnamese advertising industry in a professional, creative and sustainable direction.
In 2025, the Vietnam Creative Advertising Awards - Van Xuan Awards continues to position itself as a prestigious award in the Vietnamese advertising industry with a series of activities from July to December such as launching the award, specialized seminars, exchange talks, experiential exhibitions, product displays, advertising technology introductions, art performances, career counseling, etc.
Vietnam Creative Advertising Awards - Van Xuan Awards 2025 includes 52 categories to honor individuals/collectives with creative ideas and outstanding contributions to the Vietnamese Advertising industry:
● Van Xuan Classic (10 awards): Honoring outstanding creative advertising campaigns with influence on television commercials; outdoor billboards; online newspaper advertising and social media platforms. Including 1 Grand Prix Award for Best Advertising
● Van Xuan (39 awards): Honoring Marketing campaigns, Brands, Agencies, Production Houses and talents in the advertising industry.
● Van Xuan Stars (3 awards): Honoring outstanding projects for young talents nationwide, encouraging students to bring creative ideas closer to reality.
The time to open the portal to receive entries is from the date of announcement until October 20. Selection and evaluation of entries for the final round will be from October 30 to November 10, 2025. The summary and award ceremony is expected to be held at Nguyen Hue Walking Street - Ho Chi Minh City on December 19-20-21.
Also at the program, the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Creative Advertising Awards - Van Xuan Awards 2025 also signed a memorandum of understanding on media cooperation with 6 news agencies, newspapers and media including the Electronic Information Portal of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Marketing and Family Magazine; Vietnam Travel Magazine; TikTok Vietnam; Channel 28 Entertainment and Zalo Video.
