Attending the event were members of the City Party Committee: Nguyen Thanh Binh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Nguyen Quang Tuan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Council, along with representatives of departments, branches, socio-political organizations, students and youth union members in the area.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh affirmed: The "Digital Education for All" movement is a very important content, directed by the Government and identified by Hue City as a key task to promote the comprehensive digital transformation process, from the public administration to each household and citizen. "This is a popular and practical movement, helping people from all walks of life and all ages to access, understand and use digital platforms in their daily lives," Mr. Binh emphasized.

The “Digital Education for the People” movement is being implemented in parallel with the “Learning about online public services” program on the Hue-S platform for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers. Through this, the city aims to improve digital skills, increase the use of online public services, and contribute to building a modern, transparent administration that effectively serves the people.

One of the typical models deployed by Hue City is the community digital technology teams. These teams operate in residential areas and neighborhood groups to “hand-hold” people on how to use public services, make cashless payments, and access essential digital utilities. Thanks to that, the “Digital Literacy for All” movement not only creates a positive effect in the community but is also contributing to shaping a digital learning society from the grassroots.

5 groups with outstanding achievements in the movement to learn about online public services on the Hue-S platform for students received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the City People's Committee.

Within the framework of the program, the Department of Science and Technology also officially launched the Hue City Creative Startup Competition 2025 , marking the 10th consecutive year of organizing a playground for innovative ideas. The Department representative said that this year's competition prioritizes startup projects in 5 areas: Digital transformation, tourism, medicine and pharmacy, creative industry, clean energy, renewable energy and other innovative fields.

The deadline for receiving applications is August 31, 2025, and the closing ceremony and award ceremony are expected to take place at the end of the year. The Organizing Committee hopes that the competition will continue to be a place to gather creative, feasible ideas that are closely related to the practical development needs of Hue city.

Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh affirmed: Digital transformation and innovative startups are two important driving forces for Hue to make a breakthrough in the new period. Especially, in the context of the city implementing a two-level government model, spreading the spirit of innovative startups will contribute to promoting new thinking, new ways of doing things and higher practical efficiency.

The city’s leaders also called on departments, branches and localities to proactively “order” practical problems to invite the startup community to participate in solving them. At the same time, universities, research institutes, businesses and investors are expected to be important partners in consulting, supporting, incubating and turning potential ideas into real businesses.

Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Binh expects: With the active participation of the people, the rate of using online public services at levels 3 and 4 will soon exceed 80%, contributing to improving the efficiency of State management, the quality of public services and building a modern digital government. With synchronous, practical and people-oriented solutions, Hue city is gradually realizing the goal of building a digital government, digital economy and digital society, creating a solid foundation for sustainable development in the new period.

On this occasion, 5 groups with outstanding achievements in the movement to learn about online public services on the Hue-S platform for students in 2025 were awarded certificates of merit by the Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, as a recognition and encouragement of the spirit of learning technology in the community.
