Launching emulation campaign 'striving for Ca Mau GRDP growth to reach 8% or more'

On the afternoon of March 19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province held the 4th Conference, term X, term 2024 - 2029, launching the emulation movement "Striving for GRDP growth of Ca Mau province in 2025 to reach 8% or more"...

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province also organized the implementation of the content of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 12, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation in the Fatherland Front system and member organizations of the Provincial Fatherland Front .

Responding to the emulation movement "Striving for GRDP growth in Ca Mau province in 2025 to reach 8% or more", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province has issued many official dispatches to promote the implementation of growth targets of sectors and fields, especially the GRDP growth target and breakthrough solutions, political determination of the locality, creating unity and consensus among the people, contributing to the successful implementation of growth targets and targets according to the Resolution of the Government. In particular, Ca Mau province will focus on implementing key tasks and solutions, breakthroughs in the development of Sector I (fishery, agriculture, forestry) to increase by about 3.5%; Sector II (industry, construction) to increase by about 10%; Sector III (services) to increase by about 10.4%"...

Regarding the implementation of the content of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 12, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, based on the plans of the Provincial People's Committee, the Program of the Provincial Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province has specified it by Plan No. 46/KH-MTTQ-BBT dated March 11, 2025, in which 3 key contents are implemented such as: propaganda to raise awareness of cadres, union members, association members and people on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation; promoting digital transformation, application of science, technology, innovation in the activities of the Fatherland Front system in the province; promoting the role of social supervision and criticism of the Fatherland Front in performing tasks on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province Le Thanh Trieu requested: The Fatherland Front Committees at all levels preside over and coordinate with member organizations to effectively carry out emulation movements and campaigns to promote the spirit of solidarity and creativity among the people, mobilize and motivate people of all walks of life to actively participate in emulation and creative labor, take advantage of opportunities, develop and boost production and business, join hands and unite to overcome difficulties and challenges to continue starting a business, strive to become rich legitimately, help each other reduce poverty sustainably,... contribute with Party committees and authorities to solve social issues, care for people's material and spiritual lives.

Actively mobilize people to participate in the emulation movement "Ca Mau joins hands to build new countryside" associated with the implementation of the campaign "All people unite to build new countryside and civilized urban areas"; especially continue to carry out well the movement "joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in the province.

The goal of each movement must be for the benefit of the people, motivating all classes of people to actively respond and participate in carrying out socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security of the locality.

Mr. Le Thanh Trieu added: In addition, it is necessary to play a good role in supervising and monitoring emulation and reward work at all levels, sectors, agencies, organizations and units; pay attention to inspection, evaluation, preliminary and final reviews; proactively discover and replicate advanced models; have many forms of timely commendation, honor and reward good people, good deeds, groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in emulation movements, creating a widespread influence among all classes of people.

Mr. Le Thanh Trieu emphasized: The Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province believes that the emulation movement "Striving to achieve the growth target of Ca Mau province in 2025 to reach 8% or more" will be a new breath of life for emulation movements to develop strongly, creating a widespread influence throughout the province.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front will well perform its role as the leader, the center of solidarity, coordination, and unified action with all levels, sectors, and people of all walks of life in the province to actively respond and make important contributions to successfully implementing the goals set by the province.
