Here, there is a stone cave at an altitude of 1,060m above sea level, divided into two branches: the first branch is about 300m long and the second branch is about 700m long. In front of the cave, mining materials and tools are scattered.
Searching within a 30m radius around the scene, the Working Group seized 1 damaged generator and 1 stone crusher, covered with dirt and rocks.
At the second point, in Nam Co village, about 300m from Provincial Road 133, bordering Hua So village (Nam So commune), the working group discovered two mining tunnels 25-30m deep. There were no people at both points when the team conducted the inspection.

Immediately after discovering the incident, the People's Committee of Nam Cuoi Commune urgently directed the Working Group to coordinate with the Commune Police, the Security and Order Team and the militia force to temporarily bury the mining tunnels, seize related evidence and tools. At the same time, continue to strengthen patrolling and control, promptly prevent illegal mining activities, protect resources and security and order in the area.
The Commune People's Committee also reported and proposed to the authorities handling options according to the provisions of law.
