The workshop included representatives from global technology platforms and domestic enterprises such as FPT , Vietcombank, Dragon Capital, along with many representatives from research institutes, universities, technology enterprises and the innovative startup community.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Vo Xuan Hoai, Deputy Director of NIC, said that with the orientation of developing strategic technology industries, Vietnam is proactively creating a legal corridor and support mechanisms to promote innovation. Blockchain is one of the important foundational technologies, contributing to improving national competitiveness and digital sovereignty .

“The event is an opportunity for stakeholders to dialogue, share experiences and build a sustainable development roadmap for this national strategic technology industry,” Mr. Vo Xuan Hoai informed.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, if taking advantage of opportunities and building a timely legal corridor, Vietnam can completely make Blockchain a strategic pillar in developing the digital economy and ensuring national digital sovereignty.

At the workshop, discussions focused on key topics such as: analyzing global trends and the possibility of localizing blockchain technology in Vietnam in terms of infrastructure, finance, logistics, healthcare, education and smart urban management; shaping a national model and establishing a legal corridor for blockchain testing; proposing policies and roadmaps for the development of the national blockchain technology industry.
Vietnam is in the process of promoting comprehensive digital transformation, developing pioneering technology industries such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, blockchain, big data, financial technology and cybersecurity. In that context, blockchain has emerged as a reliable technology infrastructure, applied in many fields from finance, healthcare, education, supply chain to smart urban management.
