
Through initial inspection, in the document bag there was 1 personal diary, 1 meeting minutes book, 1 personal notebook, 1 newspaper, 1 identity card with the name Nguyen Thi Tho, born in 1937, hometown Binh Dao commune, Thang Binh, Quang Nam .
Authorities determined that these were documents from the anti-American resistance war, most likely documents, records and working papers of revolutionary cadres operating in the locality before 1975.

Initial information, the discoverer was Mr. Pham Phu Nh. (residing in Binh Tinh village). While digging the foundation for a house, Mr. Nh. discovered an iron box containing an old cloth bag, inside were wrapped many yellowed papers, notebooks and notes, the writing in ink was blurred. Realizing that it could be a historical document, Mr. Nh. immediately reported to the Binh Tinh village Party Cell for handling.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Thang An Commune, Phan Thanh Van, said that immediately after receiving the information, the Party Committee of the Commune inspected and made a record of receiving and preserving the artifacts, and at the same time coordinated with functional units to appraise, restore and store them according to regulations.
Local authorities commended the sense of responsibility of the households for promptly reporting and closely coordinating with authorities in protecting the artifacts.
