Suitcase containing woman's body found in dead-end alley

A smelly suitcase suspected to contain a human body was discovered by locals in front of a house in a dead-end alley on Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street, Ho Chi Minh City.

As of the afternoon of July 25, Ho Chi Minh City Police were still coordinating with Thanh My Tay Ward Police to block off the scene and investigate the smelly suitcase in front of a house on Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street.

According to some witnesses, that morning, a woman came to the house in alley 294, Xo Viet Nghe Tinh street. There, the woman discovered a suitcase placed in a dead-end alley, in front of the house, and it smelled. Suspecting something was wrong, she called the police to report it.

Upon receiving the news, Thanh My Tay Ward Police arrived, coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Police Department and related units to conduct an examination and discovered the body of a woman inside the suitcase.

Authorities are present at the scene.

The police then sealed off the scene and extracted camera footage to investigate and clarify. It is known that the police have arrested a suspect and are taking statements to clarify the motive for the crime.
