Accordingly, the province has formed chains to link and consume safe livestock products. Specifically, the province has 35 chains of pork and pork-processed products. On average, each year, these chains supply the market with about 550 thousand tons of pork, accounting for more than 65.5% of the total pork output in the province.
In the province, 10 chicken meat chains have been formed, mainly closed chains of large enterprises and corporations. These chains supply the market with about 143 thousand tons of chicken meat/year, accounting for nearly 50.4% of the province's total chicken meat output. Typically, the processed chicken meat chain of Koyu & Unitek Co., Ltd. (Long Binh ward) with an output of about 22.5 thousand tons of chicken meat/year, accounting for 13% of the province's chicken meat output. Of which, the output of processed chicken meat exported to the Japanese market is 320 tons/month, equivalent to 780 tons of live chicken. The safe chicken meat production chain for export of CPV Food Binh Phuoc Co., Ltd. (Chon Thanh ward) has a slaughtering capacity of 150 thousand chickens/day; an output of about 135 thousand tons of chicken meat/year, and a processing capacity of 1 thousand tons/month.
In addition, the province also has 6 chicken egg chains, supplying the market with more than 360 million eggs each year; 1 quail egg chain supplying the domestic market and exporting about 48 million eggs/year.
