HNP - On the morning of September 18, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dai Thanh commune held the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, term 2025-2030. In the 2024-2029 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dai Thanh commune has achieved many outstanding results. Propaganda and mobilization work has been flexibly innovated, developing more than 6,200 union members, effectively maintaining online information channels, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc.

Major movements and campaigns have been widely deployed: building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, environmental protection, epidemic prevention, the movement "All people protect national security"... The Front has mobilized more than 3.2 billion VND for community works, launched tree planting, installed security cameras, and organized hundreds of environmental sanitation sessions.

Social security work achieved practical results: The "For the Poor" Fund collected 328 million VND, supported the construction and repair of 12 solidarity houses, and gave away hundreds of gifts, motorbikes, and bicycles. The "Repaying gratitude" Fund reached 260 million VND, and the "For Vietnam's seas and islands" fund was over 348 million VND. Social supervision and criticism activities were strengthened, with 20 supervisions and 44 people's inspections organized, detecting and recommending the handling of many violations. However, the report also frankly acknowledged some limitations: the work of gathering intellectuals and businesses was still weak; some movements were not very effective; supervision and criticism at the grassroots level were not timely.

Entering the 2025-2030 term, the Commune Fatherland Front determined to continue promoting its core role in the great national unity bloc, contributing to building Dai Thanh commune to develop rapidly and sustainably. The main directions are: innovating the content and methods of operation; promoting propaganda, gathering people of all walks of life; improving the effectiveness of social supervision and criticism; encouraging creative emulation; strengthening people's foreign affairs activities; building a united, safe and happy residential area.

The Congress set out a number of specific targets: 100% of disadvantaged households receive support during holidays and Tet; annually organize 1-2 thematic supervisions and at least 2 document reviews; each village has typical works and tasks serving the community; over 92% of households achieve "Cultural Family", over 90% of villages meet cultural standards; strive to have new initiatives from member organizations every year; cremation rate at the end of the term reaches over 92%.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Innovation - Creativity - Development", the Fatherland Front of Dai Thanh commune is determined to continue to be a bridge between the Party, the government and the people, arousing the belief and aspiration to build an increasingly rich and civilized homeland.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Dang Duc Quynh, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of the commune warmly congratulated, commended and acknowledged the results of the Fatherland Front of Dai Thanh commune achieved in the past term.

Entering the new term, with the theme: " Enhancing the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc; arousing the spirit of patriotism and creativity, contributing to building a prosperous and civilized Dai Thanh commune", comrade Dang Duc Quynh requested the new term Commune Fatherland Front Committee to absorb the direction of the City Fatherland Front leaders, well implement the 3 breakthroughs and 10 targets set out in the Resolution of the Congress, and at the same time lead the implementation of a number of key tasks in the coming time.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Nguyen Tien Hung, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union, assessed: In the past time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune has performed very well and achieved many positive results, with many good models and activities, closely following the guidelines and policies of the City and the locality; closely following the leadership of the Party Committees at all levels, coordinating with the government in implementing the economic and political tasks of the commune.

In addition to the achieved results, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City Nguyen Tien Hung also noted that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dai Thanh commune should pay attention to implementing them in the next term.

Accordingly, the Dai Thanh Commune Front must focus on consolidating and promoting the great national unity bloc, creating high consensus in thought and action. In the new context, the Front needs to step up propaganda work, mobilizing people to well implement the Party's guidelines, the State's laws and policies and local regulations. Applying digital transformation, effectively exploiting community pages, the Front's fanpage and member organizations will help promptly grasp people's thoughts and aspirations, orient public opinion and advise Party committees and authorities to resolve issues from the grassroots level.

Pointing out the geographical advantages of Dai Thanh commune, located on the main traffic routes, being a bustling transit point between Hanoi's inner city and the southern provinces. This is the potential for the commune to strongly develop the fields of services, trade, education and private healthcare. He suggested that the Fatherland Front and organizations continue to advise and mobilize people to exploit local advantages, develop traditional products in a modern and sustainable direction, associated with the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program. Thereby, Dai Thanh can become a dynamic, civilized and unique economic region.

In addition, improve the effectiveness of social supervision and criticism. The Front needs to promptly detect and propose solutions to handle pressing issues, prevent negativity and corruption, and at the same time promote people's mastery through the activities of the People's Inspectorate and grassroots mediation teams. This is an important "bridge" to resolve arising conflicts, maintain political stability and social order and safety.

The Fatherland Front of Dai Thanh commune also needs to continue to care for the lives of the poor, the meritorious and the vulnerable, ensuring that no one is left behind. Mobilizing social resources, coordinating with the government and socio-political organizations to implement practical support programs will help improve people's lives.
