Ha Giang has diverse and rich resources, favorable for the development of many types and tourism products. Currently, our province has formed and exploited typical tourism products mainly such as: Ecotourism, spiritual culture, craft villages, community, resort... In particular, with strongly divided terrain, with gradations, it has created many high passes, deep ravines combined with wide valleys to create many majestic and unique landscapes, which are ideal conditions for the formation of discovery tourism products, adventure sports. Promoting that strength, the province annually organizes sports competitions such as: Off-road racing, paragliding, kayaking, marathon running... The events have created a wide spread, attracting the attention of professional athletes, domestic and foreign tourists. From there, contributing to promoting the image of Ha Giang on the media and social networks.

With its majestic and poetic scenery, Ha Giang has been chosen as the setting for many movies, music videos and reality TV shows. In addition to the famous movie "Pao's Story", there are also famous movies such as: Silent Under the Deep, Tet in Hell Village, Father Carrying Son... Along with that, in recent times, there has been an important contribution from the community media force in the digital environment. From media channels on digital platforms, attractive destinations, quality tourism products and services of Ha Giang are promoted and introduced to tourists through video clips, articles and beautiful images. Among them, we can mention singer and musician Quach Beem with the song "Ha Giang oi"; Youtube channel "Challenge Me - Let's Challenge Me" by Le Hoang Nam. Or channels such as: Khoai Lang Thang, Chan La Ca, Nguyen Tat Thang, A Pao... with thousands of impressive contents have spread the image of Ha Giang tourism in the digital environment.

In recent times, all levels, sectors, localities and units in the province have paid attention to improving coordination in tourism communication activities, creating a unified information space and a specialized system. In particular, the Provincial Tourism Promotion Information Center has deployed diverse and flexible forms of promotion on digital platforms. In addition to the annual tourism stimulus program in provinces and cities, digital media promotion activities have been deployed through publications such as: Welcome Ha Giang, Tourism Encyclopedia, Tourism Map, publications introducing Ha Giang tourism products connecting with tourist destinations in the Northeast, Northwest, Viet Bac... In the programs to survey, develop and introduce new tourism products, the Center cooperates with prestigious domestic media units to widely promote the potential and strengths of Ha Giang tourism. At the same time, continuously innovate and effectively operate electronic information pages, fanpages, social networks and provide advice and support to provide information directly to tourists via the website to improve accessibility and information dissemination.

In the context of strong development of digital technology, the cultural sector has quickly adapted and diversified communication channels on digital platforms. Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trieu Thi Tinh shared: Ha Giang has identified ethnic cultural identity and natural landscapes as the center for developing tourism products. Therefore, the content and forms of communication are based on existing potentials to disseminate and promote widely to all tourists. Up to now, Ha Giang tourism activities are not only known through traditional methods, but managers, travel businesses, and accommodation services in the province have quickly and flexibly accessed effective communication channels through digital platforms. The whole sector is also flexible and creative in organizing programs and events to promote and introduce festivals and cultural identities on the province's communication channels and linking with digital communication channels of central press agencies. Notably, the communication and promotion of annual festivals, bearing the brand of Ha Giang on digital platforms and social networks such as: Buckwheat Flower Festival; Through the Hoang Su Phi terraced fields heritage; Through the Viet Bac heritage areas... Organizing online experiential tours, making many clips promoting famous landscapes, heritages, attractive destinations, regional cuisine as well as typical local products.

It can be affirmed that digital media has contributed to promoting the image, positioning the brand, making Ha Giang tourism develop impressively and winning many prestigious awards. In the coming time, the Department of Culture will continue to promote digital transformation in the tourism sector; advise and coordinate, accompany the community media team in informing about attractive destinations, annual events, traditional festivals; focus on training, fostering and improving the professional skills of tourism staff...
