Promoting the role of bridging the gap between "the Party's will" and "the people's aspirations"

In his opening remarks at the competition, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Hanoi City Party Committee, Dao Xuan Dung, emphasized that the 2026 Hanoi City Excellent Speaker and Propagandist Competition is not only a professional playground for speakers and propagandists, but also a broad political activity throughout the entire city's Party organization.

Each speaker and propagandist serves as a bridge connecting "the Party's will" with "the people's hearts," contributing to encouraging and motivating cadres, Party members, civil servants, and workers to uphold a sense of responsibility, self-reliance, self-improvement, love for Hanoi , and a shared determination to build a cultured, civilized, modern, and happy capital city.

According to Comrade Dao Xuan Dung, the competition is also an opportunity for Party committees at all levels to further enhance their understanding of the position and role of ideological work, oral propaganda, and the activities of the team of speakers and propagandists; thereby innovating leadership and guidance methods, and improving the quality and effectiveness of propaganda work in the new situation.

In the context of rapid digital transformation, the requirement for each speaker and communicator is to continuously improve their theoretical knowledge, presentation skills, ability to apply technology, and innovate communication methods, in order to effectively convey the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws to cadres, Party members, and the people.

The preliminary round of cluster 3 brought together 11 outstanding contestants selected from the grassroots-level competitions of 11 wards: Nghia Do, Cau Giay, Xuan Dinh, Yen Hoa, Tu Liem, Phu Thuong, Phu Dien, Dong Ngac, Tay Tuu, Tay Ho, and Thuong Cat.

Contestants participated in three parts of the competition: preparing an outline, giving a thematic presentation, and answering questions from the judging panel. The competition focused on current events and key political tasks such as implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party, digital transformation, science and technology development, education , cultural preservation, building the armed forces, crime and drug prevention, and promoting national unity…

With her topic "Promoting digital transformation, green transformation, and energy saving for sustainable development goals," contestant Duong Thi Hai Phuong, a specialist in the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of Hanoi City Electricity Corporation, Tay Ho ward, won first prize.

Based on practical experience in the electricity sector, the candidate clarified the role of digital transformation in improving the efficiency of electricity system management and operation; while also emphasizing the need to promote green transformation and use energy efficiently and effectively to realize the sustainable development goals set forth in the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The presentation not only addressed the major directions but also linked them to the specific tasks of the electricity sector and the responsibilities of each official and Party member in concretizing the policies to contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.

In addition to the First Prize, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 special prizes, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 5 Consolation Prizes.
