The Provincial Association of Former Teachers has nearly 3,300 members, operating in 11 district and city-level associations and 73 commune, ward and town-level associations. This is a team with professional qualifications, extensive experience and especially love for the profession and responsibility towards the younger generation. According to Ms. Ly Thi Ha, President of the Provincial Association of Former Teachers: “Although retired, many teachers are still attached to students, especially in remote areas. Members regularly organize free tutoring for weak students, some even write documents and lectures to share with colleagues who are still working.”

Not only stopping at the field of education, the Association of Former Teachers also actively participates in social activities. In the 2019-2024 term, members have contributed hundreds of working days to the movement to build New Rural Areas, mobilizing people to maintain environmental sanitation and protect clean water sources. In particular, in the movement to build "Learning Families" and "Learning Clans", the Association plays a role in extensive propaganda and mobilization. The whole province has more than 2,000 member families achieving the title of "Learning Families", nearly 1,600 members receiving the "For the Cause of Education" Medal, 87% of former teachers' families have children studying at colleges and universities... Many members are Party cell secretaries of villages and neighborhoods, participating in the work of the Front, the Association of the Elderly, the Women's Union, the Association for Promotion of Education... Up to now, the whole province has 989 members participating in local socio -political and professional organizations.

The Provincial Association of Former Teachers has directed the Association's branches to carry out many diverse activities, contributing to improving the cultural and spiritual life of its members. Clubs such as literature, poetry, physical education, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, chess, etc. have been established and maintained effectively. Up to now, the Association of Former Teachers in districts and cities has built many cultural and sports clubs, attracting more than 500 people to participate in regular activities. In 2024, the Association organized the first poetry writing contest, attracting 236 entries from 100 authors who are members. 169 typical poems were selected and printed into the poetry collection "Teachers' Feelings", a vivid testament to the dedication, talent and love for the profession of former teachers. Talking about the activities of the Association, Ms. Ngo Thi Loan, a member of the Dance Club of the Provincial Association of Former Teachers, shared: “Joining the club helps us to improve our health, expand our social relationships and, above all, continue to feel useful and have joy in our daily lives.”

Promoting the results achieved in the past time, the Provincial Association of Former Teachers is continuing to promote emulation movements to build an increasingly strong Association. Promoting the role, intelligence and prestige of the team of former teachers in participating in political and social activities at the grassroots level.
