Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW dated June 9, 2014 sets out the goals and requirements for building a healthy cultural market, promoting the development of the cultural industry, and enhancing the promotion of Vietnamese culture. To preserve traditional music, in addition to building mechanisms, policies, projects, and programs to preserve traditional music, it is necessary to pay more attention to the connection between provinces and localities, helping artisans who preserve traditional music heritage to spread the knowledge and beauty of traditional music.
Nowadays, many ethnic music and dance troupes have been established to restore, perform, and recreate songs on stage; establish clubs and groups to play musical instruments and dance rituals to serve ceremonies or visitors.
