Developing collective economy into a solid foundation for farmers

According to the Provincial Cooperative Union, the collective economic sector and cooperatives in the province have gradually developed, becoming a solid support for farmers. The province currently has 5 cooperative unions and 510 cooperatives; of which 377 cooperatives operate in the agricultural sector, 104 non-agricultural cooperatives, and 29 people's credit funds.

According to the Provincial Cooperative Union, the collective economic sector and cooperatives in the province have gradually developed, becoming a solid support for farmers. The province currently has 5 cooperative unions and 510 cooperatives; of which 377 cooperatives operate in the agricultural sector, 104 non-agricultural cooperatives, and 29 people's credit funds.

The total number of cooperative members is 82,248, charter capital is over 687 billion VND, regular employees are more than 7,240 workers.

Besides, the whole province currently has 3,150 cooperatives with 52,650 members, 2,899 cooperatives operating in the agricultural sector and 251 cooperatives in other sectors.

The linkage model between farmers - cooperatives - enterprises - State is increasingly demonstrating a positive role in the development of agricultural economy, farmers and rural areas.

By September 2025, the whole province will have 1,083 products recognized with 3 stars or more from 625 participating entities; there are 94 cooperatives, 85 cooperatives and 4 linked groups participating in the value chain of key agricultural products.

Thereby improving the lives of farmer members and at the same time being a bridge to bring scientific and technical advances and State support to farmers.
