Practical "Zero-dong Market" session supports people in difficulty

(BDO) On May 16, the Thu Dau Mot City Red Cross Society (RCS) organized a “Zero-VND Market” to support disadvantaged people in the area. Attending the event was Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of the Provincial RCS.

Leaders of the Red Cross Association of Thu Dau Mot province and city and benefactors presented gifts to support people at the "Zero Dong Market" session.

To help people alleviate some of the difficulties in life, at the fair, the City Red Cross Association presented gifts to 100 people from poor households, those with difficult family economic circumstances, and the elderly living alone in the area. Each gift worth 500,000 VND included milk, rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce, vegetables, fruits, etc. The funds were mobilized by the City Red Cross Association from individuals and organizations.
