Thus, the VN-Index is approaching the historical peak of 1,536 points recorded in January 2022.

At first, the market moved quite slowly and at times appeared red. However, in the afternoon trading session, improved demand helped the representative index of the floor to score better.
The number of stocks increasing in price dominated with 207 stocks going up and 126 stocks going down. In the VN30 group, the number of stocks increasing and decreasing in price was 13.
Today, large-cap stocks, especially banking and real estate stocks, have significant differentiation. While VCB, VIC, CTG, FPT are red, VHM, TCB, HPG, VPB, MBB are green.
The strongest support for the market was VHM, contributing 1.65 points; followed by transportation stocks VJC with more than 1 point, VPB (also more than 1 point).
This session, the securities group had the most outstanding performance in the market. Most of the codes increased in price. However, this group has a not-so-large capitalization, so only SSI (increased by 6.25%), VIX and VND (both increased in price to the end of the fluctuation) were among the 10 codes that contributed the most to the VN-Index, with nearly 1 point, 0.588 points and 0.5 points respectively.
The automotive and components, software and services, consumer staples, insurance, healthcare equipment and services, hardware and equipment sectors are contrarian.
Liquidity continued to be high with over VND37,000 billion changing hands. Foreign investors bought over VND2,846 billion and sold over VND2,870 billion.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index reached 254.56 points, up 3.89 points (1.55%); the HNX30-Index stopped at 542.13 points, up 9.45 points (1.77%). The total transaction value reached more than 3,000 billion VND.
