On May 30, at the National Assembly House, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai met with the delegation of National Assembly deputies of Quang Nam province from all terms on the occasion of the delegation's return to the source towards the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026).

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation of National Assembly deputies from Quang Nam province in the atmosphere of the whole country celebrating many major national holidays.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly affirmed that over the past 80 years, the Vietnamese National Assembly has always maintained its role as the highest State body and has constantly innovated to meet practical requirements, improve the quality of legislative activities, supervise and decide on important issues of the country.

Informing the delegation about the socio-economic situation in 2024 and the first months of 2025, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai said that the National Assembly has promptly issued many important policies to remove difficulties for businesses, support economic recovery, administrative reform, promote digital transformation and develop a green economy. Along with that, the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Central Committee on streamlining the apparatus and improving the efficiency of the political system has achieved positive results...

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly respectfully acknowledged and expressed gratitude for the important contributions of the National Assembly deputies of Quang Nam province to the activities of the National Assembly; hoped and requested that generations of deputies continue to monitor, contribute opinions, and improve the quality of the National Assembly's activities, meeting the development requirements of the country and the aspirations of voters.
