Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong offers incense to commemorate General Vo Nguyen Giap and the heroic martyrs in Dien Bien.

On the afternoon of July 24, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly and the working delegation offered incense at the Memorial House of General Vo Nguyen Giap in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign Command Relic Site and the Martyrs' Temple, A1 Martyrs' Cemetery in Dien Bien.

In a solemn atmosphere, Comrade Tran Quang Phuong and the delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers to commemorate General Vo Nguyen Giap, the legendary general of the nation, the excellent and brilliant student of President Ho Chi Minh , the eldest brother of the Vietnam People's Army, and together expressed gratitude and remembered the General's great contributions to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the Vietnamese people.

At the Martyrs' Temple at Dien Bien Phu Battlefield, A1 Martyrs' Cemetery, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong and members of the working delegation respectfully laid wreaths, offered incense, and expressed their gratitude to the cadres, soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers; the army and people who fought bravely and sacrificed to create the Dien Bien Phu victory that "resounded throughout the five continents and shook the world".

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong and Comrade Mua A Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, offered incense on each martyr's grave at the A1 Martyrs' Cemetery, Dien Bien.

The delegation respectfully hopes that the heroic martyrs will bless the nation, the people, the country of Vietnam to be everlasting and prosperous, and the Vietnamese people to always be peaceful and happy.
