The project to support typical tourist destinations in ethnic minority and mountainous areas (Project 6) is being implemented in Khau Dang village, Boc Bo commune (Pac Nam), with implementation period from 2023 to 2025.
Accordingly, the locality has coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Kan province to survey and propose the implementation of Project 6 in Khau Dang village with investment contents including: Building a communal house in the village according to the stilt house architecture; preserving, renovating and refurbishing 9 stilt houses of 9 households in the village; building village gates and signboards; preserving intangible cultural values such as: Long Tong Festival, Cap Sac ceremony, traditional costumes, etc.
The above project is invested by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Kan province. The feasibility study report of the project has been submitted for appraisal. The People's Committee of Pac Nam district has registered the land use list in 2025 to implement the project: Supporting investment in preserving villages, hamlets, and typical traditional cultures of ethnic minorities.
Through the inspection of the actual implementation of the Project, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Quang Tuyen assessed the advantages of the locality in implementing the model. At the same time, he requested the investor to coordinate with the locality to speed up the progress of the Project and research and develop more tourism products in the village to attract tourists and promote investment efficiency.
The Pac Nam District Central Infrastructure Construction Project was approved for investment in Resolution No. 62/NQ-HDND dated July 14, 2021, with a total investment of 110 billion VND. The completed project will form functional areas with a synchronous technical system, gradually meeting the goal of urban development in the central area of Boc Bo commune. To date, the foundation, road surface and drainage systems along and across the main route have been basically completed. After the on-site visit, Mr. Dinh Quang Tuyen, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested Pac Nam district to continue to coordinate with relevant units to speed up the project's progress, focus on completing items and works..., ensuring quality and progress as committed; strengthen inspection and supervision to promptly detect and remove arising difficulties and problems.../.
