(GLO)- During 2 days (July 24 and 25), Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh visited and presented gifts to typical families of policy beneficiaries and revolutionary contributors in 7 communes: Chu Pah, Ia Khuol, Dak Doa, Kon Gang, Ia Bang, Bo Ngoong and Kdang.

At the places visited, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh expressed his deep gratitude for the sacrifices and losses of the wounded soldiers and families of policy beneficiaries. At the same time, he inquired about their health and living conditions and hoped that the families would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, actively participate in local emulation movements as well as educate their children to strive to study, work, and contribute their strength and intelligence to the development of their homeland.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh said that through the resistance wars and the journey of building and defending the country, millions of outstanding people of the whole country, including Gia Lai province, have fallen and sacrificed their blood and bones for national independence. War invalids, sick soldiers, martyrs, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and people with meritorious services are beautiful symbols of revolutionary heroism. They are shining examples of patriotism, indomitable spirit and strong will of the Vietnamese people.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh requested local authorities to continue to thoroughly grasp resolutions, directives and ordinances related to people with meritorious services; ensure a living standard of average or above for people with meritorious services and their families.
