This evening, December 29, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam visited and congratulated the Provincial State Treasury (KBNN) and the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) branch in Quang Tri province on the occasion of closing books and financial settlement at the end of 2023.

According to the report of the Provincial State Treasury, based on the State budget revenue estimates assigned in 2023, the Provincial State Treasury has proactively coordinated closely with relevant agencies and units to collect the State budget according to regulations, quickly, fully and promptly concentrate revenues into the State budget; at the same time, accurately and promptly regulate State budget revenues.

Make timely payments for investment projects with completed volume and eligible for disbursement according to the provisions of law; do not let payment records remain at the treasury without clear reasons. The connection of revenue data between the treasury, tax, and customs is always timely and fast, ensuring the concentration of revenue sources for the State budget.

To date, there are 9 commercial banking systems that have coordinated with the Provincial Treasury to collect taxes, with a total of 35 payment and collection accounts in the province. The Provincial Treasury has increased the application of information technology, proactively participated in the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, gradually formed a digital treasury; focused on improving service quality, enhancing the satisfaction of units that have transactions with the State Treasury...

In 2023, the Bank for Social Policies, Quang Tri province branch, effectively transferred policy credit capital, ensuring timely delivery of capital to the right beneficiaries.

Regarding loan turnover, by the end of this year, it reached nearly 1,639 billion VND, helping more than 29,600 customers who are poor households and other policy beneficiaries to borrow capital.

Outstanding loans reached VND 4,768 billion, an increase of VND 886 billion compared to 2022; with 1,841 savings and credit groups and more than 76,000 households with outstanding loans. Policy credit capital has helped more than 8,600 poor households, near-poor households and newly escaped poverty households access policy credit capital; helped 6,150 workers find jobs; more than 2,000 disadvantaged students get loans for their studies; more than 17,000 clean water supply and rural environmental sanitation projects; more than 830 ethnic minority and mountainous households have access to preferential loans under Decree 28/2022/ND-CP; 420 households have received loans to build new and repair houses...

Implement preferential credit policies in a synchronous and timely manner to the people, especially the poor, near-poor households, ethnic minorities in remote areas, students; create favorable conditions for people in difficulty to access preferential capital for economic development, poverty reduction, new construction and house repair; effectively implement programs and activities of gratitude, repayment of debts, and social security in the province.
