Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Huu Tri worked with the Organizing Committee of the Switzerland - Vietnam Economic Forum

On the afternoon of September 23, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Huu Tri had an online meeting with the Organizing Committee of the Swiss-Vietnam Economic Forum (SVEF) to discuss preparations for the 2025 Forum, scheduled to take place from November 4-5 in Da Nang city. At the meeting, the provincial leaders introduced the potential, strengths and investment cooperation needs in many fields, and expressed their desire to connect effectively with partners during and after the forum.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Huu Tri informed the Organizing Committee of the Swiss - Vietnam Economic Forum about the province's strengths in agriculture, aquaculture, and renewable energy. Currently, Ca Mau province is implementing the Hon Khoai dual-use port project; upgrading Ca Mau Airport, building the Ca Mau - Dat Mui expressway and a number of other key projects and works.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Huu Tri said: Ca Mau province has a strong need for tourism development, investment in transport infrastructure, logistics, vocational training, job creation, healthcare, education ; especially investment in the fields of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation. Therefore, we hope that the Organizing Committee of the Swiss - Vietnam Economic Forum will introduce the potential and strengths of Ca Mau province to partners when participating in the forum, so that partners and investors have a specific plan when discussing investment cooperation with Ca Mau province, both in the short and long term.

Ca Mau province is ready to welcome foreign partners and investors to the locality to explore cooperation opportunities, both before and after the Switzerland - Vietnam Economic Forum 2025.

The representative of the Swiss-Vietnam Economic Forum Organizing Committee introduced the framework of the Swiss-Vietnam Economic Forum 2025 to be held in Da Nang city. Thereby, it is believed that Ca Mau will be one of the key localities, playing a prominent role in international cooperation in the fields of green transformation and renewable energy.

Through information exchanged at the meeting, the Organizing Committee of the Switzerland - Vietnam Economic Forum will have strategic cooperation orientations as well as detailed plans for Ca Mau province to participate in the forum in Da Nang city in the most effective way.
