At the meeting, Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que introduced the province's potential and strengths in developing high-tech agriculture , associated with deep processing industry of agricultural products, renewable energy and tourism.
In the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, Gia Lai strives to become an “Ecological, Sports and Health Plateau” by 2050. However, the current level of development of Gia Lai is still not commensurate with its potential and strengths, so Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que hopes that foreign investors, especially Korean investors, will be interested in investing in the province's three strengths.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que thanked the Trade Promotion Agency for connecting with KOTRA Hanoi to come and learn in Gia Lai.
Currently, Gia Lai has been known to many Koreans, especially through working connections with the Korean Embassy, the province is supported to introduce to Korean businesses in a number of fields, including cooperation in the field of Korean language training to serve the work of exporting labor to Korea; at the same time, introducing a number of projects related to the medical field in Gia Lai to borrow capital from organizations in Korea.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Sungwook Cha - Head of KOREA DESK, Deputy General Director of KOTRA Office in Hanoi, expressed his thanks to the Provincial People's Committee for warmly welcoming the delegation. "We are an agency under the Korean Embassy. Through the meetings, we have met and worked with many localities, and ministries and branches of Vietnam. This visit to Gia Lai is an opportunity for Korea to learn about the economic potential of the locality to create a premise for investment connections in Gia Lai in the coming time" - Mr. Sungwook Cha said.
It is known that, as part of the practical investment promotion consultancy program in Gia Lai, this afternoon the working group of the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) will have a training workshop on attracting foreign investment in Pleiku City, with the participation of departments, branches and localities in the province.
