In Quat Du 2 village, the delegation visited beautiful lychee orchards, especially the "egg-shaped" lychee orchard which was currently being harvested. The "egg-shaped" lychee variety is notable for its large, intensely sweet fruit, with only about 15-17 fruits per kilogram, and is entirely purchased by traders at a price of 150,000 VND per kilogram.
The owner of the orchard is Mr. Ngo Van Cuong, who has been cultivating this lychee variety for over 7 years. According to Mr. Cuong, the advantages of the egg-shaped lychee variety are not only its beautiful appearance and high quality, but also its bitter fruit stem, which helps to limit pests and diseases.
At the same time, the delegation also visited a lychee growing area that applies IMO biological products in cultivation. This solution helps minimize the use of pesticides, creating safe, high-quality products that meet the increasingly high demands of the market.

As of May 18, 2026, according to reports from commune leaders, the total yield of early-ripening lychees harvested reached approximately 2,506 tons, accounting for 33.5% of the total projected yield. Of this, the majority (about 2,466 tons) was consumed in the domestic market, while the remaining 25 tons were exported to Canada and other markets.
In the coming period, Phuc Hoa commune will focus on implementing several key tasks to improve the quality and expand the market for early-ripening lychees. Specifically, the commune will strengthen information dissemination, propaganda, and guidance to raise people's awareness and compliance with regulations on production conditions so that the product meets quality standards.
These contents have been widely disseminated through the village radio system and the commune's electronic information portal, with particular emphasis on the implementation of regulations on planting area codes and purchasing standards of various markets.
During a field inspection of the lychee growing area, Comrade Pham Van Thinh highly appreciated the production guidance of the agricultural sector and local authorities in this year's lychee crop. Although the yield did not meet expectations, the quality of the lychee fruit has improved significantly.

Besides traditional lychee varieties, many households have boldly introduced new lychee varieties with large fruits, attractive appearance, and high quality, often called "pink peach lychee." The comrade welcomed this direction and suggested that the agricultural sector research and consider replicating the model.
Notably, the application of IMO biological products in lychee cultivation has fundamentally replaced pesticides, helping lychees retain their delicious flavor and safety, opening up a direction for clean and sustainable production. The comrade emphasized the need to replicate this model not only on lychee trees but also on other fruit trees.

Furthermore, the comrade also noted the importance of utilizing the value of lychee peels—a potentially rich but underutilized resource. Applying IMO (Integrated Microorganisms) technology creates clean products; lychees can be processed into various other products such as beverages and high-end gifts; and the peels themselves can be used as a source for cultivating probiotics to support the treatment of digestive diseases.
