On the morning of May 26th, at Linh Son Pagoda (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat), the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Lam Dong Province organized the Great Buddha's Birthday Celebration for the Buddhist year 2570 - Gregorian year 2026.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Pham Thi Phuc, along with leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, presented flowers to congratulate on the Buddha's Birthday celebration.

Attending the Buddha's Birthday celebration were comrades: Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Nguyen Ngoc Phuc, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of various departments and agencies.

At the ceremony, Venerable Thich Giac Canh, a member of the Central Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, read the Buddha's Birthday Message from the Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.

In his message, the Supreme Patriarch emphasized that the significance of the Buddha's Birthday celebration is not only to commemorate the birth of Shakyamuni Buddha, but also to allow each Buddhist to reflect on and gain a deeper understanding of the Buddha's teachings of compassion, wisdom, and engagement with the world.

The speech emphasized that 2026 is a special milestone as the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha celebrates its 45th anniversary, while also preparing to organize Buddhist congresses at all levels, leading up to the 10th National Buddhist Congress to be held in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the same time, they have encouraged people to live virtuous lives, uphold moral values, and abide by the policies of the Party and the laws of the State.
