BHG - On April 17, comrade Vuong Ngoc Ha, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a working session with the Department of Health to grasp the working situation and thoughts of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the health sector when implementing the administrative unit merger with Tuyen Quang province.

At the meeting, representatives of the units reported on the results of operations in the first quarter of 2025 as well as difficulties and obstacles in implementing tasks at the unit. Accordingly, in the first quarter, the health sector basically completed the targets assigned by the Provincial People's Committee in the health sector; the epidemic situation was relatively stable, the inspection and monitoring of infectious diseases were strengthened in localities; the training, fostering and training of medical ethics for staff were focused on. In addition, food safety and hygiene, pharmaceutical - cosmetic - food testing, population and family planning, child protection, construction of green - clean - beautiful medical facilities ensure the set targets... However, in the implementation process, there are still some difficulties in organizing staff, vaccination, funding for implementing electronic medical records, procedures for payment and settlement of projects in the health sector as well as the mindset of the staff when implementing the merger of Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang provinces in the coming time.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Ngoc Ha acknowledged the achievements that the health sector has achieved in taking care of people's health in recent times and the new tasks of social protection and children, preventing social evils, contributing to ensuring social security. He accepted the opinions and recommendations of the units and emphasized that the recommendations under the authority of the Department of Health should be promptly considered and resolved; and for the contents under the authority and responsibility of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Health should synthesize, report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to resolve in the coming time.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Ngoc Ha also requested units to continue implementing administrative reform and digital transformation tasks; pay attention to reviewing and digitizing documents and public assets; fostering and training both professional and medical ethics for staff at medical facilities. In addition, coordinate with local authorities to perform well medical examination and treatment, vaccination; ensure food safety and hygiene in collective kitchens in schools; regulate food safety in restaurants and hotels; promote propaganda work, actively spread the achievements in medical examination and treatment.
Regarding the content of the province's merger, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the Department of Health will do a good job of ideological work for the staff of the units subject to the merger. Proactively work with the Tuyen Quang Department of Health to develop a merger project to submit to the Provincial People's Committee and arrange and support official housing for staff at the Ha Giang Department of Health when they come to work in Tuyen Quang. Request that cadres, civil servants and public employees of the health sector must absolutely trust in the leadership of the Party and the State, not waver, always unite, strive, improve medical ethics, ensure disease prevention and control, and medical examination and treatment for people in the area.
