At the meeting, Major General Dang Van Lam, Deputy Commander of Military Region 7, informed voters of the results of the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly. The 6th session completed the entire agenda, passed many important bills and resolutions, and gave opinions on many other bills.
According to the scheduled program of the 7th session, the 15th National Assembly will consider and pass important laws, typically the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Property Auction; the Law on Social Insurance (amended); the Road Law... and give opinions on many other important draft laws.
At the meeting, voters of District 6 highly agreed with the results of the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly. In addition, voters of District 6 also sent to the National Assembly Delegation - Unit No. 8 many recommendations related to the Road Traffic Law, the Land Law (amended) as well as proposed many recommendations to improve people's lives.
Voter Ho Anh Tuan (Ward 8, District 6) reported that people are affected by the project to expand Highway 13 in District 6. This is a Group C public investment project invested by the People's Committee of District 6, but is currently suspended.
According to this voter, the process of clearance and compensation for the project still has many shortcomings. The people only have property in the area affected by the project and no other property, and their economic situation is difficult,... Therefore, voter Tuan hopes that the People's Committee of District 6 and related departments will consider and have appropriate policies for people affected by the project.
Voter Pham Van Thi (Ward 10, District 6) reported that the suspended projects in District 6 and many other localities have lasted for decades, greatly affecting people's lives, but have not been thoroughly addressed for many reasons. According to voter Thi, Ho Chi Minh City needs to resolutely reclaim "suspended" projects that have lasted beyond their deadlines, not allowing this situation to continue to cause suffering to people.
On the same morning, the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation - Unit 8 also had a meeting with voters of Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City. The Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation - Unit 8 recorded and accepted the voters' comments and recommendations, and said that they would summarize them to submit to the National Assembly for consideration in the upcoming session.
