Although it is still nearly a month until the Mid-Autumn Festival, Hang Ma Street (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi ) is brightly decorated by businesses selling toys, and a sea of people flock here to check-in and shop on the weekend.
According to Dan Viet reporters on the evening of August 25, the area around Hoan Kiem Lake, the old streets of Hang Ma, Hang Luoc, Hang Ngang... were always crowded with people.
Many young people and families with small children come here to visit, take pictures and shop.
Nguyen Thi Xuan Mai (19 years old, first year student at International College) said that she and her friends took advantage of the weekend to go to Hang Ma Street to play. "Yesterday, my friends and I planned to go but it rained too much. Today the weather is nice so I invited my friends to go. This is the first time I have been to Hang Ma Street to play and take photos of the Mid-Autumn Festival. The atmosphere here is very bustling, the items here are very beautiful, my feelings when I first came here are hard to describe," Mai shared.
This year, Mid-Autumn Festival toys and decorations are very diverse with many designs, colors, styles... Besides colorful, eye-catching Chinese products, many traditional Vietnamese products are also on sale.

Crowds of people jostled each other, many families had to carry small children up high to move through the sea of people.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung (27 years old, living in Ha Dong, Hanoi) said: "Today is a holiday, my wife and I took our two children to Hang Ma Street to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival early. My wife and I bought our children traditional toys to help them understand more about Vietnamese culture. In addition to buying household items, I also took photos to capture beautiful memories before the Mid-Autumn Festival."
Many young people take their pets to Hang Ma Street to shop and take pictures.
Tran Thi Thuy ( Nghe An ) said, today I went to Hang Ma street with my friends to take pictures. "Although I have been in Hanoi for 4 years, this is the first time I have been to Hang Ma, I find the atmosphere today very bustling. For me, Mid-Autumn Festival is a very special occasion, seeing the colorful lanterns, I feel like I am reliving beautiful childhood memories", Thuy shared.
Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as Moon Festival or Lantern Festival, falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month every year and is a traditional festival in Vietnamese customs. This year's Mid-Autumn Festival will take place on September 17 (ie August 15 of the lunar calendar).
