On May 9, at the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Thai Binh branch, Permanent Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Dao Minh Tu had a working session with the Director of the SBV, Chief Inspector of the SBV Hanoi branch, and the provinces of Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Thai Binh , Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, and Thanh Hoa to strengthen and consolidate the situation of QTDND activities in the area.

The delegation was attended by representatives of the Banking Inspection and Supervision Agency (CBIA); leaders and officers of Department III - CBIA; representatives of the Office, Communications Department, Cooperative Bank, and Deposit Insurance of Vietnam.
At the meeting, representatives of the State Bank of Vietnam branches in 8 provinces and cities reported on the operation of the People's Credit Fund system in the area. The representatives discussed and exchanged on what needs to be done to make the People's Credit Fund's operations more effective.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu acknowledged the achievements in the past time and frankly pointed out the existing problems. In the coming time, the Deputy Governor requested the units to focus on implementing a number of key tasks as follows:
Firstly, continue to seriously implement Directive No. 06/CT-TTg dated March 12, 2019 of the Prime Minister on strengthening solutions to ensure operational safety and firmly consolidate the People's Armed Forces system. In which, focus on rectifying, ensuring security and safety of the system, restructuring the system of People's Armed Forces organizations in the area;
Second, improve the quality of supervision and inspection work, focus on effective, focused, and key inspections; Increase the frequency of surprise inspections to detect unusual signs in the activities of the People's Army so that timely measures can be taken;
Third, maintain cross-inspection, improve inspection quality, conclude and impose strict penalties according to regulations. Enhance the inspection role of Deposit Insurance and Cooperative Banks;
Fourth, closely coordinate with local authorities in the work of rectifying and ensuring security and safety of the QTDND system in the area;
Fifth, coordinate with relevant agencies to periodically organize annual QTDND Conferences to assess existing limitations and increasingly improve quality;
In addition, continue to perfect the legal framework for the activities of the People's Credit Fund, and research the People's Credit Fund's operational model suitable to the new situation.
On the same day, Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu and the working delegation conducted a field survey at Thanh Ne People's Credit Fund, Kien Xuong District and Thai Thinh People's Credit Fund, Thai Thuy District, Thai Binh Province.
