Informing reporters of the Journalist & Public Opinion Newspaper, a parent in Hanoi said that he had just received a call from the number 0703850*** informing him that he was being treated at Hospital 108 and asked to transfer money to pay the hospital fees.
This parent recounted that the caller said: “Uncle, are you TM’s father? I am TM’s friend. TM had an accident and is being treated at the 108 Military Hospital. Please transfer money so I can pay his hospital bill or he will be in critical condition.”

Currently, there are cases of parents receiving calls asking them to transfer money because their children are in emergency care in the hospital (illustrative photo - internet source).
