Cau Kieu Ward organizes festival for civilized and friendly city

The People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cau Kieu Ward jointly organized the Festival "Civilized - Modern - Compassionate City" in 2025

The event was held to welcome the 1st Congress of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and socio -political organizations of Cau Kieu ward, term 2025 - 2030.

Attending the program were comrades: Tran Thu Ha, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council; Dang Van Khoa, Member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Nature and Environment Protection;... together with representatives of departments and a large number of people.

The festival is considered an important premise, creating positive spread in the awareness and actions of the community, towards building Cau Kieu ward to be more civilized, modern and affectionate.

The activity "exchange trash for trees" is organized to encourage people to collect recyclable trash and raise awareness of environmental protection.

The highlight of the festival is the implementation of the project “Cau Kieu, a thousand flowers, phase 2025 – 2030”. The project is built to promote the role of the government and people in improving the environment and urban beauty, contributing to building a clean, green and friendly residential area.

Sharing about the project, Mr. Nguyen Truong Nam, member of the Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cau Kieu Ward, said that despite facing many difficulties due to the urgent preparation time, the organizing committee still made efforts to respond to the city's general plan.
