HNP - On the evening of February 5th, the People's Committee of Hoang Mai Ward organized the opening ceremony of the 2026 Year of the Horse Spring Flower Market and an art program to celebrate the successful conclusion of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, with the theme "Celebrating the Party - Celebrating the Year of the Horse 2026". The flower market will take place from February 2nd to 3 PM on February 16th, 2026 (i.e., from the 15th to the 29th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Snake).

In his opening remarks, Vice Chairman of Hoang Mai Ward People's Committee Vu Hung Quan said that every Tet holiday, the Spring flower market has become a beautiful traditional cultural feature, not only meeting the needs of people to buy flowers, ornamental plants, and Tet decorations, but also serving as a space for exchange and promotion of products from gardeners and businesses, contributing to the development of trade and services in the area.

The Spring Flower Market in Hoang Mai Ward is organized in two areas: the southern sidewalk of Road 2.5 (from the intersection with Road 2.5 to the end of the Ao Duong cemetery area) and the sidewalk area of ​​the wholesale market and the road west of the Kim Ngưu River.

The flower market covers a total area of ​​approximately 3,000 square meters, bringing together hundreds of businesses, nurseries, and vendors from Hoang Mai ward, other wards in Hanoi , and some neighboring localities. The stalls display a diverse range of flowers and ornamental plants, such as peach blossoms, apricot blossoms, kumquats, pomelos, oranges, bonsai, along with ceramic products and decorative items for Tet (Lunar New Year), meeting the shopping needs of Hanoi residents and tourists.
