With the core role in staff work, the ward police have coordinated with departments, branches, unions, and socio- political organizations to annually organize the "National Security Day for the Whole People" thoughtfully, solemnly, and enthusiastically, with many rich, joyful, and diverse activities such as: cultural and artistic exchanges; awarding commemorative medals to individuals with many contributions to the cause of protecting the security of the Fatherland; organizing "Commune, ward, and town police forums to listen to people's opinions", reviewing traditions... Since then, the Festival has become a day to demonstrate the strength of the masses in the cause of protecting the security of the Fatherland and preventing and fighting crimes at the grassroots level.

The police force also coordinated to promote propaganda and disseminate legal knowledge widely among the people, attracting thousands of participants; deployed and implemented 100% of hamlets, villages, agencies, enterprises, and educational institutions in the area to register to meet the standards of "Security and order safety"; consolidated and improved 18 security and order protection teams; maintained the operation of 10 models to ensure security and order, typically the model of "Management, education, and assistance for drug addicts in the community family"; the model of "Reformed people's club; "Fire prevention and fighting safety inter-family group"; "Security loudspeaker"; "Security hamlet - safety - people's security"... Thereby, the police force was trusted and appreciated by the people and supported by providing 35 sources of information with 20 valuable reports to help the police force investigate and solve 9 criminal cases.

Or the model of "Lovely Rest Stop" has been maintained by Dong Thap Police for nearly 8 years. On holidays and Tet, Hong Ngu City Police advised the City People's Committee to establish a clever "Lovely Rest Stop" model to give mineral water, cold towels, and cakes to people returning to their hometowns.

The spillover effect, the Provincial Police Department Board of Directors directed the local police in the whole province to replicate the model to serve more people. In the past time, this model has mobilized over 4,000 cadres, soldiers, civil servants, union members, association members and people in the province to participate. Thereby, over 600,000 bottles of mineral water, over 500,000 cold towels, nearly 115,000 foods of all kinds, over 1,000 liters of gasoline; coordinated with the Head Honda Center of the district and city to check the technical safety of 470 motorbikes; distributed over 32,000 leaflets, broadcast 1,960 hours of propaganda on traffic safety laws... with a budget of over 1 billion VND.

In particular, the model has been announced by the Ministry of Public Security to be replicated nationwide in 2023. That practical work has left a deep impression in the hearts of the people about the image of a dedicated People's Public Security soldier, wholeheartedly serving the people.

With efforts in ensuring security and order and building a movement for the entire people to protect national security, for two consecutive years (2023 and 2024), Tan Hoi commune and Binh Thanh commune were recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as communes meeting advanced new rural standards. This is a driving force for the Party Committee and People's Committee of Hong Ngu ward to continue to consolidate and promote strength in the movement for the entire people to protect national security. In particular, seriously deploy and implement Resolution No. 12 of the Party Committee to build a typical and exemplary ward police force in terms of security, order and urban civilization; advise on organizing many practical and meaningful activities, creating a vibrant atmosphere to celebrate the National Day for the entire people to protect national security.
