Long Duc Ward Party Committee currently has 33 affiliated party organizations with a total of 1,096 party members. During the 2025-2030 term, the Ward Party Committee has identified two breakthroughs for development: Focusing on effectively implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development.

Heroic Tradition

When mentioning Long Duc hometown, each of us immediately knows that it is the locality with the National Cultural and Historical Relic of President Ho Chi Minh Temple. The temple was built by the Party Committee, army and people of Long Duc despite the danger right after hearing the news of Uncle Ho's death.

Like a “thorn” in the enemy’s eye, when the temple was built, the enemy bombarded it many times. And every time the enemy bombarded it, with infinite love and gratitude to Uncle Ho, the Party Committee, armed forces and people of Long Duc fought steadfastly to protect the temple. It was the temple that created the miraculous strength for the Party Committee, army and people of Long Duc… to overcome difficulties in fighting, protecting the Fatherland and building the beautiful homeland and country as it is today.

Regarding the tradition of the Party Committee, the army and people of Long Duc commune have always been proud of many generations. During the resistance war against the US to save the country, Long Duc was a liberated zone, just over 4km from the provincial capital, but always nurtured, protected and created conditions for the army to attack the US-puppet lair in the provincial capital.

Therefore, Long Duc was always a region controlled by the enemy, who regularly swept through to destroy the revolutionary forces. With patriotism and iron will, the army and people of Long Duc still stubbornly held on to fight, not afraid to sacrifice to protect every inch of land throughout the 1960s until the day of liberation.

Comrade Nguyen Van Nhu - Secretary of Long Duc Ward Party Committee said that thanks to its existing advantages, in recent times, Long Duc Ward Party Committee has always been chosen as a focal point for implementing many models and movements and achieving positive results.

In Party building, the Party Committee has directed the implementation and organization of the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XI, XII) and Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo with many creative methods. Annual review, self-criticism and criticism are strictly implemented; after the review, focus on overcoming limitations and weaknesses, and handling urgent cases.

The quality of Party cell activities and Party committee activities has been improved. Inspection and supervision work within the Party in implementing the Party Charter has made an important contribution to building a clean and strong Party organization.

In the economic restructuring, the ward has been gradually implemented in accordance with the planning. Successfully building a ward that meets civilized urban standards; taking good care of policy families, poor households... according to the motto "No one is left behind". The total production value in the period of 2020-2025 is estimated at over 36,475 billion VND, with an average annual growth rate of 8.65%.

Increase the proportion of industry - construction, gradually reduce the proportion of agriculture - fishery. Average income per capita by the end of 2024 will reach 77.68 million VND/person/year, 1.42 times higher than in 2020. In the ward, Long Duc Industrial Park is currently operating effectively, attracting investment in 33 projects, with a total registered investment capital of over 3,200 billion VND, creating jobs for over 12,500 workers.

In particular, the locality has the national historical and cultural relic site of President Ho Chi Minh Temple and eco-tourism areas, 4 markets and 1,375 individual production and business establishments. From there, it has created jobs and increased income for workers.

Key and breakthrough tasks

Continuing to promote the tradition of the heroic homeland of Long Duc, the Party Committee of Long Duc Ward will be determined to continue to build a clean and strong Party Committee, improve effectiveness and efficiency. Promote digital transformation and innovation, creativity, and build the ward to develop rapidly and sustainably.

In particular, the ward has identified the following key tasks: Continuing to build a clean and strong Party and government. Perfecting a streamlined organization and apparatus that operates effectively and efficiently; innovating personnel work, building a team of cadres with sufficient qualities, capacity, prestige, and equal to the task.

Strengthening inspection, supervision, and Party discipline, improving the quality of Party cell activities; promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation in Party building work. Developing the economy towards improving quality, efficiency, sustainability, and adapting to climate change, prioritizing the development of green agriculture and clean industry. Improving the quality of education and training, paying attention to vocational training, and developing high-quality human resources.

Implement social security policies well, take care of policy beneficiaries and the disadvantaged. Focus on establishing, adjusting and implementing plans in accordance with the province's planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. Continue to strengthen national defense and security, maintain political security and social order and safety.

In addition, the Ward Party Committee also identified two breakthrough tasks that need to be focused on in the coming time: Focusing on effectively implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation development and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development.

The Party Committee considers this as the top priority task, the main driving force to create a breakthrough in development to build a smart Long Duc ward, digital government, provide online public services, a model ward in digital governance, serving people and businesses quickly, transparently and effectively.

At the same time, organize the conversion of crop structure towards green, sustainable agriculture, adapting to climate change, and having high competitiveness based on the application of science and technology.

Focus on planning to renovate ineffective agricultural land and mixed gardens to create breakthroughs in developing advantageous and key crops; form agricultural zones and specialized agricultural areas, apply high technology and biotechnology in production. Combine economic development with community ecotourism.
