Tuong Mai Ward: Digital transformation is becoming more substantive at the grassroots level.

In implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, Tuong Mai ward is gradually innovating its leadership, management, and operational methods on a digital platform, aiming to build a digital government and a digital society from the grassroots level.

Digital transformation is becoming a tangible part of leadership and management.

According to the Steering Committee 57 of Tuong Mai ward, in the first five months of 2026, the locality achieved many positive results in implementing digital transformation, contributing to improving the efficiency of governance and administration.

From the beginning of the year, the Ward Party Committee issued 9 documents directing the implementation of digital transformation tasks associated with the operation of the HanoiWork digital workspace and the application of public service management methods based on OKR/KPI, thereby enhancing transparency, the ability to monitor progress, and the effectiveness of task execution.

Tuong Mai Ward integrates digital transformation into all its operational activities.

The entire ward implemented 163 tasks across 4 work groups. Specifically, the Party group carried out 48 tasks; the People's Council group implemented 27 tasks, completing 14; the People's Committee group was responsible for 83 tasks, completing 51; and the Vietnam Fatherland Front group of the ward implemented 5 tasks, ensuring timely progress.

Digital platforms and shared applications continue to be effective in professional work. 100% of leaders and staff of Party agencies have been issued official digital signatures; 100% of generated documents (except confidential documents) are digitized for processing, storage, and circulation.

The ward also completed the review and cleaning of party member data; and implemented the application of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization platform via QR code in branch meetings, achieving 100% coverage. The Ward People's Council has granted accounts and provided training on the use of the centralized management platform to 30 delegates, contributing to improving digital skills for the staff.

Notably, the People's Committee of the ward has implemented the HanoiWork system – a "digital workspace" – for all officials and civil servants, supporting work management, document processing, task progress tracking, and facilitating online leadership and management. This contributes to building a modern, transparent, and efficient working environment.

Spreading digital transformation to the people.

Digital transformation in Tuong Mai ward is yielding many practical results in serving the people and reforming administrative procedures. In the first five months of 2026, the People's Committee of the ward received and processed 3,292 online applications, achieving a rate of 39.5%; the online payment rate reached 95.95%; and the rate of applications processed correctly and ahead of schedule reached 96.8%.

In addition to administrative work, Tuong Mai ward has implemented many digital transformation models linked to people's lives. The "Cashless Commercial Street 4.0" model is gradually changing transaction habits in the community, promoting electronic payments and developing digital commerce within the community.

Furthermore, the "Digital Meeting House" initiative, with the completion of internet installation for 36 meeting houses, has created essential infrastructure to bring technology closer to the people, serving community activities, meetings, and communication at the grassroots level.

Recently, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuong Mai Ward launched the "Enriching and Cleaning Data" campaign, aiming to review and standardize data on its members, youth union members, and other managed entities. The ward's Youth Union played a core role in supporting data updates, guiding officials, members, and residents in accessing digital platforms, thereby spreading the spirit of digital transformation widely within the community.

According to Vo Xuan Trong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Tuong Mai Ward, and Head of the Ward's Steering Committee 57, in the coming time, the ward will continue to build a digital culture within the political system, enhance digital capacity for cadres and civil servants; and promote the role of the Community Digital Transformation Team to spread the "Digital Literacy Movement" to the people.

Initial results show that digital transformation is contributing to the innovation of leadership methods, improving governance efficiency and the quality of service to the people, creating a foundation for Tuong Mai ward to continue building a modern, people-friendly, and effective governance model.
