According to Fichajes , the Spanish strategist submitted to the PSG board a list of 7 players who are no longer in the plan, paving the way for cutting the salary fund and recruiting new contracts to maintain the dominant position in Europe. The list surprisingly includes names that were once considered pillars, such as Marco Asensio, Randal Kolo Muani, Milan Skriniar, Carlos Soler, Nordi Mukiele, Ilyes Housni and Renato Sanches.

Slovakian defender Skriniar is closing in on a move to Fenerbahce, where Jose Mourinho is keen on his services. Marco Asensio is also being closely watched by the Turkish side, who are keen to help him regain his form in a less pressurised environment.
