PTSC Thanh Hoa organizes a practice of fire fighting, rescue, port security, and oil spill response

On May 28-29, 2025, at PTSC Thanh Hoa Technical Services Joint Stock Company (PTSC Thanh Hoa), the Company's Fire Prevention and Fighting Team coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department - Rescue of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police to organize a periodic drill on the fire fighting plan combined with rescue, seaport security (PCKB), oil spill response, and emergency response in 2025. This is an annual activity, implementing the provisions of the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting, the requirements of the oil spill response plan, the seaport security plan approved by relevant authorities as well as the provisions of Article 18 of the ISPS Code as well as enhancing responsibility, proactiveness in responding to emergency incidents and improving knowledge for officers and employees in the Company in emergency situations.

Meeting to deploy the drill

  Attending the drill were the presence and direction from the local authorities: Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Hung - Deputy Commander of the Border Guard Command of Nghi Son Port, comrade Le Van Hoa - representative of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department - Region 2, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police. On the side of PTSC Thanh Hoa, there were Mr. Nguyen Ba Tuan - Deputy Director of the Company, Mr. Nguyen Kim Dong - Head of Quality Safety Department, Mr. Le Van Cuong - Deputy Head of Quality Safety Department/Head of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team, along with the presence of 60 trainees from departments in the Company. After 2 days of training, the drill was carried out for 2 hours and was successful, achieving the set goals. Speaking at the summary meeting, Mr. Le Van Hoa, representative of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department - Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, congratulated the success of the drill, highly appreciated the efforts of the teams in implementing fire fighting measures at the unit.
