The performance of the Chinese artillery team seemed to create a "fairyland".
On the night of June 14, with the theme “Connecting Journey”, DIFF 2025 took place with two high-class performances by Canada from the West and China from the East. Each fireworks display is not only a work of light, but also an emotional journey.
Canada performed first on the third night.
Orion Fireworks team from Canada with the work “Star Dust – Magic Starlight” opened the competition night this week.
This is the rookie fireworks team of DIFF. The land of maple leaves brought a symphony of light, taking the audience on a journey to explore the universe, with fireworks bursting like sparkling shooting stars.
The big bursts of fireworks disappeared, leaving behind tiny colored particles lingering in the sky.
Previously, Canadian representative Patrick Chadonnet shared: “ DIFF is much larger in scale than the competitions I have attended. As you can see, the beautiful river flowing through the city creates an ideal setting for fireworks. The urban beauty of Da Nang will be reflected through our performance.”
Fireworks like a cluster of shooting stars, golden silk, gently flowing down.
Canada also showed its strength: fireworks accompanied by emotions, with the combination of fireworks and music . Fireworks flying in the shape of curves or stars were also perfectly combined for the performance.
Canada uses many large and high-altitude artillery pieces, which bloom into giant fireworks in the sky.
In addition, water cannons - a special type of cannon - were also used, creating many colorful and special effects. The Star Dust performance is about dreams, through which Canada sends the wish that: all people's dreams will come true.
The audience all "wow" at each high-altitude artillery fire.
“Journey to the West” is no longer a strange image to the public in many Asian countries. The Jiangxi Yanfeng artillery team from China chose to tell a story with a strong oriental feel through the performance of “Journey to the West Side Story”.
The entire performance was led by a single song: “The Road We Take” which helped the story to be seamless, consistent and emotional.
The gentle and graceful fireworks flew into the sky like beautiful fairies.
Mr. Llang Weiming, representative of the Chinese team, shared: “When choosing this image as the theme, the team wanted to create an emotional connection between the Vietnamese audience and the Chinese team. This is also a way to strengthen cultural ties through the fireworks display, combining storytelling and visual effects.”
Music and fireworks effects combine perfectly.
The symphony recreated the emotions and the calmness in each step of the four monks and disciples of Tang Monk. Under the light of fireworks, the audience felt the desire for love beyond the boundaries of mortals and immortals, humans and gods.
Fireworks and music create a joyful, sometimes heroic, and sometimes slightly gloomy atmosphere...
The Chinese team showed their class with self-researched and produced fireworks effects, notably the multi-layered color-changing fireworks, flexible and vivid like a mythical film.
...and sometimes triumph.
Despite being challenged by the weather earlier, both teams still delivered elaborate, meticulous and emotional performances, true to the theme of the third competition night. “Connecting Journey” is not only about connecting lands and cultures, but also about connecting emotions between people.
Let's "drift" along the journey of Tang Monk and his disciples.
