After more than 2 weeks of training, the National Women's Futsal Team has gathered its full strength with 20 players, officially entering the tactical training phase, preparing for the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Finals.

The missing faces in the first phase of the training camp have joined the National Team after the 2025 National Women's Football Cup ended on April 6. Notably, there is the presence of "Golden Ball" Tran Thi Thuy Trang.

Sharing on the first day of regrouping with the National Women's Futsal Team, Thuy Trang said: "That is continuous luck for Trang. This is also the motivation, pushing me to contribute to the success of Vietnam Futsal. In the past, I competed with Ho Chi Minh City Club, this time I returned to the team, I was a bit worried and confused. However, I believe my teammates will help me and aim for the highest achievement in the upcoming Asian Women's Futsal Finals."

Besides Thuy Trang, potential young players called up in the previous training session such as Thu Xuan, K'Thua... also continued to be on the call-up list. Last year, K'Thua and her senior Thuy Trang played impressively for Ho Chi Minh City Club, reaching the semi-finals of the 2024-2025 Asian Women's Club Championship and winning the 2025 National Women's Cup.

During the morning practice session on April 9, head coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his assistants had the whole team practice getting a feel for the ball with light exercises.

“In this morning's training session, the whole team had enough players, the atmosphere was very happy and positive. The old group of players continued to improve their techniques and tactics and correct some mistakes. The new group of players focused mainly on regaining their ball feel and getting used to the team's playing style. The coaching staff was very satisfied with the team's spirit," the captain of the Vietnam Women's Futsal Team shared.

According to plan, the National Women's Futsal Team will have 10 days left to practice before leaving for training in Japan on April 20.

The team is expected to have two friendly matches on April 23 and April 25, of which the friendly match with the host Japan Women's Futsal Team will take place on April 25.

The team will finalize professional issues after the final friendly match with the Chinese Women's Futsal Team, before officially entering the battle at the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Finals early next May./.
