Specifically, the administrative unit of Bac Tu Liem 1 (Tay Tuu ward) has a natural area of ​​7.56 ^km² and a population of 45,013 people. Its administrative boundaries encompass most of the natural area and population of Tay Tuu and Minh Khai wards (Bac Tu Liem district), and a portion of the natural area and population of Kim Chung commune (Hoai Duc district).

The administrative unit of Bac Tu Liem 2 (Phu Dien ward) has a natural area of ​​7.28 ^km² and a population of 43,346 people. Its administrative boundaries include the entire area and population of Phuc Dien and Phu Dien wards (Bac Tu Liem district), most of the natural area and population of Mai Dich ward (Cau Giay district), and a part of the natural area and population of Co Nhue 1 ward (Bac Tu Liem district).

The administrative unit of Bac Tu Liem 3 (Xuan Dinh ward) has a natural area of ​​5.48 ^km² and a population of 32,628 people. Its administrative boundaries encompass most of the natural area and population of the following wards: Xuan Tao, Xuan Dinh (Bac Tu Liem), Xuan La (Tay Ho), and a portion of the natural area and population of Co Nhue 1 and Co Nhue 2 wards (Bac Tu Liem).

The administrative unit of Bac Tu Liem 4 (Dong Ngac ward) has a natural area of ​​8.85 ^km² and a population of 52,694 people. Its administrative boundaries include the entire area and population of Duc Thang ward, and most of the natural area and population of the following wards: Dong Ngac, Co Nhue 2, Xuan Dinh, Thuy Phuong, and Minh Khai (Bac Tu Liem district).

The administrative unit of Bac Tu Liem 5 (Thuong Cat ward) has a natural area of ​​14.68 ^km² and a population of 87,406 people. Its administrative boundaries include the entire area and population of the wards of Thuong Cat, Lien Mac, and Thuy Phuong (Bac Tu Liem district), and a portion of the natural area and population of the wards of Co Nhue 2, Minh Khai, and Tay Tuu (Bac Tu Liem district).
