At the meeting, the District People's Council discussed and approved many important contents. In particular, the District People's Council approved a Resolution on the policy of implementing the plan to rearrange commune-level administrative units in Bac Tu Liem district.
Accordingly, Bac Tu Liem district includes 5 basic administrative units:
Tay Tuu administrative unit has a natural area of 7.56 km2 , a population of 45,013 people, including most of the natural area and population of the wards: Tay Tuu, Minh Khai (Bac Tu Liem); part of the natural area and population of Kim Chung commune (Hoai Duc).
Phu Dien basic administrative unit: natural area: 6.26km2 ; population: 40,487 people. Administrative boundaries: The entire area and population of Phu Dien ward (Bac Tu Liem); most of the natural area and population of the wards: Phuc Dien (Bac Tu Liem); Mai Dich (Cau Giay); part of the natural area and population of Co Nhue 1 ward (Bac Tu Liem).
Basic administrative unit Xuan Dinh natural area: 5.48km2 ; population size 32,628 people. Administrative boundary: Most of the natural area and population of Xuan Tao, Xuan Dinh wards (Bac Tu Liem), Xuan La (Tay Ho); part of the natural area and population of Co Nhue 1, Co Nhue 2 wards (Bac Tu Liem).
Dong Ngac basic administrative unit: natural area: 8.85km2 ; population: 52,694 people. Administrative boundaries: The entire area and population of Duc Thang ward (Bac Tu Liem); most of the natural area and population of Dong Ngac and Co Nhue 2 wards (Bac Tu Liem); part of the natural area and population of Xuan Dinh, Thuy Phuong and Minh Khai wards (Bac Tu Liem).
Thuong Cat basic administrative unit: natural area: 14.68km2 ; population: 87,406 people. Administrative boundaries: The entire area and population of Thuong Cat and Lien Mac wards (Bac Tu Liem); most of the natural area and population of Thuy Phuong ward (Bac Tu Liem); part of the natural area and population of Co Nhue 2, Minh Khai and Tay Tuu wards (Bac Tu Liem).
Results of the public consultation on the implementation of the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Bac Tu Liem district: The number of voters representing households whose votes were cast was high (71,818/73,314 voters, reaching 97.96%). The people also agreed and highly agreed with the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units in the district. Specifically: 96.51% of voters agreed with the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units in the district; 94.81% of voters agreed with the name of the new administrative unit.
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Bac Tu Liem District Luu Ngoc Ha requested that agencies and units not allow interruptions in operations, have solutions to effectively manage public assets, and stabilize the population during the upcoming transition period.
At the same time, urgently carry out the work of developing a plan to arrange job positions for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers; resolve the regime for those who have left work in accordance with current regulations; promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people and grassroots cadres.
"From now until June 30, relevant agencies and units must thoroughly resolve the situation of petitions and complaints, strictly manage land management and violations of construction order... Complete the task of digitizing records, receiving and handling administrative procedures smoothly and effectively, without interrupting work that affects the legitimate rights of organizations and individuals," emphasized comrade Luu Ngoc Ha.
