Military Region 1 supports schools in Thai Nguyen with 700 million VND

Major General La Cong Phuong presented money to support schools in Linh Son ward.

During the recent historic floods , many schools in the province were deeply flooded, property was swept away , classrooms, school supplies, electrical equipment, fences, libraries, playgrounds, clean water systems, etc. Immediately after the water receded, Military Region 1 sent many officers and soldiers to clean up and work with schools to restore facilities .

However, the material damage is huge, just counting the schools in Linh Son ward and Dong Hy commune, the damage is over 10 billion VND, and is in great need of attention and support from agencies and units.

At the 2 localities visited, on behalf of the working delegation , Major General La Cong Phuong deeply sympathized with the difficulties and damages of schools due to natural disasters . At the same time, he affirmed that all officers and soldiers of the Military Region's armed forces always accompany and contribute their efforts to promptly support schools , helping schools to soon stabilize teaching and learning activities .

Major General La Cong Phuong presented money to support schools in Dong Hy commune.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Party Committee and Command of Military Region 1 , Major General La Cong Phuong presented support money to 9 kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools in Linh Son ward and Dong Hy commune ( 50 million VND for each school ) .

Along with that, the Military Region 1 Command authorized the Thai Nguyen Provincial Military Command to provide financial support to 5 schools in Dan Tien, Na Ri communes and Phan Dinh Phung ward. The total amount of support this time is 700 million VND.
