Temporarily ban cars from circulating on Gia Bay bridge

On October 18, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province issued a document temporarily banning vehicles from traveling through Gia Bay bridge to serve the inspection and assessment of the current status of the project.

Specifically, according to Document No. 4402/UBND-CNN&XD of the Provincial People's Committee, the time for banning cars from circulating starts from 12:00 on October 19, 2025 until the inspection results are available. During this time, cars will be guided to move on other routes to ensure traffic safety and serve the inspection and maintenance of the bridge.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to organize inspection work, ensure traffic safety and widely inform people to proactively choose appropriate travel options through Ben Tuong Bridge and Huong Thuong Bridge during the period of banning cars from traveling through Gia Bay Bridge.
