Simultaneously launched inspection and handling of alcohol concentration violations

Implementing the direction of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security), the Director of Thai Nguyen Provincial Police has issued a plan to direct the Traffic Police force, Commune-level Police and professional forces to coordinate to increase patrols, control and handle violations of alcohol concentration throughout the area.

Traffic Police and Thai Nguyen Provincial Police have simultaneously launched patrols, controlled and handled violations of alcohol concentration.

Accordingly, from 12:30 on October 18, 2025, the Traffic Police force of the whole province will simultaneously launch alcohol concentration checks according to the nationwide launch order of the Director of Department C08. The peak period is deployed with the motto of launching simultaneously in the same time frame, unified, resolute and effective, in order to promptly detect, prevent and strictly handle violations, contributing to reducing traffic accidents caused by alcohol use.

The Traffic Police Department (PC08), Provincial Police was assigned to preside over and establish specialized working groups to coordinate implementation. The task force was fully equipped with vehicles, cameras, weapons, support tools and was arranged to check at key time frames and locations such as restaurants, eateries, bars, entertainment venues, industrial parks, national highways and inner-city routes.

The plan's goal is to raise awareness of law enforcement, build a culture of safe traffic, and promote the image of traffic participants as "don't drive after drinking alcohol". Forces are required to work seriously and openly, with absolutely no restricted areas, ensuring the right people and violations are handled.
