On the morning of December 8, comrade Le Anh Quan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee inspected the work of site clearance and disbursement of public investment capital for projects in the Kien An area.
According to the report at the inspection session, Kien An Regional Project Management Board is currently the investor of 39 projects in Phu Lien and Kien An wards, of which 26 projects have been completed and 13 projects are under construction.
Regarding the disbursement of public investment capital, Kien An ward has disbursed more than 75 billion VND, reaching 64% of the capital plan for 2025. Phu Lien ward has disbursed more than 222 billion VND, reaching 67% of the capital plan for 2025. In general, Kien An area has disbursed 298 billion VND out of a total of nearly 449 billion VND, reaching 66% of the capital plan for 2025.
Regarding site clearance for projects in the area, besides the majority of people agreeing to receive compensation and support according to regulations, there are still a few cases of intentionally not handing over the site, affecting the construction progress and disbursement of public investment capital in the area.

At the inspection session, comrade Le Anh Quan emphasized that the progress of disbursement of public investment capital in Kien An area is still quite slow compared to the city's public investment disbursement scenario and lower than the average progress of the whole city.
The Kien An Regional Project Management Board must focus on disbursing public investment capital in the area, determined to complete it on schedule. In addition, it urges contractors to increase human resources and equipment, speed up the construction progress of projects, especially traffic projects, and strive to complete them before December 31, so as not to affect the lives and activities of the people.
Assessing the very slow progress of the Happiness Flower Garden Construction Investment Project, the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the Kien An Area Project Management Board to establish a daily progress schedule for the contractor and construction unit to implement, by December 31, the construction of the embankment and lake bank infrastructure must be basically completed and by the end of January 2026. If the committed progress is not completed, the contractor's responsibility will be considered.
Regarding site clearance, the two local authorities closely coordinate with the Kien An Regional Project Management Board to strengthen propaganda and mobilization, and it is necessary to complete documents and procedures according to regulations to enforce against households that deliberately do not comply, speeding up the site clearance progress of the projects.
Relevant departments and branches support localities in evaluating, accepting, and settling project works and removing obstacles in compensation, support, and site clearance.
