Quang Ngai aims for per capita GRDP to reach 7,000 USD by 2030

(QNgTV) - In the 2020 - 2025 term, Quang Ngai province's economy has achieved remarkable achievements. The total product (GRDP) in the area is estimated at nearly 93,000 billion VND, an average increase of 7.3%/year.

Of which, the industrial, construction and service sectors account for more than 70% of the GRDP structure, reflecting a positive shift in the economic structure towards modernization, reducing dependence on agriculture. Notably, the state budget revenue in the 2020 - 2025 period reached more than 170,000 billion VND, always exceeding the target assigned by the Central Government.

On that basis, Quang Ngai sets a target of average GRDP growth of 9 - 9.5% per year, average income of 6,900 - 7,000 USD by 2030; average income per capita increases by 9 - 10% per year. The economic structure will continue to shift towards industrialization and modernization, with the proportion of industry - construction and services accounting for about 74 - 75% of GRDP by 2030.

In which, the industrial - construction sector plays a key role, accounting for about 43 - 44% of GRDP.
