Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, has issued directives regarding state management of land prices. Specifically, concerning the land prices used to calculate compensation when the State acquires land, Mr. Giang requested that the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities focus on directing relevant departments and units to expedite the process of determining, appraising, and approving specific land prices, ensuring timely compensation and land clearance for projects and works throughout the province.

Regarding specific land prices for calculating land use fees and land lease fees, Mr. Giang requested that departments, agencies, and localities, according to their assigned functions, tasks, and authority, be responsible for reviewing and promptly organizing the determination of specific land prices for cases where decisions on land allocation, land lease, or permission to change land use purposes have been made before the effective date of the 2024 Land Law.

For cases of land allocation, land leasing, and permission to change land use purposes as stipulated in the 2024 Land Law, it is necessary to ensure that the land price decision is issued within 180 days from the time of land valuation as prescribed in Clause 4, Article 155 of the 2024 Land Law.
