Quang Ninh: Reaches the milestone of over 10 million tourists.

Of the total number of visitors to Quang Ninh, domestic tourists accounted for the majority with over 7.9 million arrivals, while international tourists reached over 2.2 million arrivals, of which nearly 3 million were overnight visitors.

Thanks to the high number of visitors, the province's total tourism revenue in the past five months is estimated at nearly 27,700 billion VND, marking a 20% growth compared to the same period in 2025.

Local tourism representatives stated that the impressive results were achieved thanks to the province's successful organization of numerous large-scale cultural, sports , and tourism events, creating a strong attraction for tourists. The most notable highlight was the series of events under the Quang Ninh Culture, Sports, and Tourism Week celebrating summer 2026, centered around the Ha Long Carnival 2026. This series of events alone attracted nearly 2 million visitors, generating an estimated total tourism revenue of over 6,000 billion VND.

Besides organizing major events, Quang Ninh province continues to effectively implement tourism promotion and marketing activities and expand the international tourist market. In particular, the province is focusing on potential markets such as Russia and Australia.

At the same time, in order to meet the increasingly diverse needs of tourists, especially during the peak summer tourist season, Quang Ninh is focusing on developing new tourism products, improving service quality, and strengthening destination management.

From now until the end of 2026, Quang Ninh province will organize major cultural, sports, and tourism events to attract tourists, striving to achieve a target of 22 million visitors, including 5.2 million international visitors, and tourism revenue of 65,000 billion VND. Notable events include: the Halong Bay Heritage International Marathon, expected to be held around November; international golf tournaments and sports exchanges; the 2026 National Green Tourism Annual Forum; the Quang Ninh Food Festival and the "Ha Long Food Tour" series, usually held in the fourth quarter to honor the unique culinary values of the locality and region, creating a highlight experience for tourists when the weather turns cold. In addition, localities within the province will also organize many festivals such as: the Binh Lieu Golden Harvest Festival, the Binh Lieu So Flower Festival (December)...

With its current growth momentum, Quang Ninh's tourism industry is continuing to implement a comprehensive range of solutions to achieve its set growth targets, further affirming its position as one of the leading tourism centers in the country.
